Anyone Gone To Heavy Strings On A Silver Sky?

I happened to be looking at the parts drawing of a 1967 Strat when I noticed that the listed factory string gauge was a .012-.052 set. IIRC string sets started getting lighter in the late 60's.

This fact led me to wonder if anyone had tried .011 gauge sets or higher on their Silver Sky and what the sonic results were.

I'm sure it would be killer , in the 70s I used 11s with a wound 3rd on my Strats.
you could do the Trower thing which he said is 11s tuned down a full step.

If in were to get a silver sky first thing I would do would be to put 11s on it , I have 11s and 12s on most my strats.
