Anyone ever do the Peter Green magnet flip on their McCarty?

Just purchased a mint 2002 blue matteo McCarty (pics coming soon)!

This is my 3rd McCarty. The past two were sold after many years of faithful gigging, when I attempted to convince myself that i was a les paul dude (I'm not).

Anyways, I will be ordeing up a set of 59/09s for her. In the meantime, I'm very curious to hear what the out of phase tone would be like by flipping the magnets on the stock neck PUP. I absolutely love the oop tones of PG and H Sumlin....it's just so honest sounding.

Any tips, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have dimarzios that have the Peter Green Magnet flip on them, but they aren't in a mcarty, rather a CU24 10 top. Very neat to have those tones available,.

Would that be the opposite of the reason for flipping the magnet in a pickup to accommodate the 5-way rotary configuration?
