Anybody else find any?

Do you realize how valuable these little morels are? I've personally tried growing these in a dedicated "mushroom square" with a windbreak to protect them from too much wind and direct sunlight. Never could get the little buggers to grow in Connecticut.

My brother regularly visits his dense woods out behind his property, and harvests morels and 'hens and chicks' when they are in season in early spring and early fall.

Because morels grow only randomly and you can't really know where they will grow, they're a rarity and are worth a lot of money! IIRC, a couple ounces of morels go for $60 to $80, maybe more. Enough to keep you in good scotch for a year easily.
