Any way to get covered 59/09s?

Covered pickups just sound a certain way. I prefer them. Actually, I had Jack from Northeast Music Center call down and ask that same question, and the answer was...no.

Im more superficial, i just prefer their look. However, recently i have gone by the Tremonti look more with open coils in the bridge and covered in the neck. Id like a 59/09 or 59/08 in a cover to try to compare to the McCarty Bass that i have and like.

I wanted "the look" also. Found some covers at GC, I think they were All Parts brand. Had to buy two sets because only one of each set would fit. For me it was worth the small price to preview before purchasing $400 worth of PRS pickups.

I agree that covers look better, though PRS did improve the looks with their larger coils. It still looks like your "under the hood."
