Tried out a couple of Wampler pedals recently, just wondering if anyone has used the models I'm interested in. I went in search of the Plextortion, but had no luck... it sounds great online, but that's all I've got so far. I'm also pretty sure I'm going to get a Velvet Fuzz at some point, just a killer sounding fuzz that's not too over the top, which is what has kept me away from other fuzzes in the past.

I also tried the Euphoria and Pinnacle, on recommendation of the sales guy... the Euphoria, what a killer sounding pedal. I didn't have much interest in a D-style pedal, because every time I try one, it just doesn't do "smooth" the way I think it should, but man, did the Euphoria deliver. The Pinnacle was cool, but just not my thing.

So, anyone using any of the above models?

I have a Wampler Super Plextortion which gives me WAY over the top gain. I use it sparingly, just for those times when regular amounts of distortion won't do. It does that job nicely.

When I bought it I was really hoping for something that would give me a drastically different tone as well. My sound is very much in the Marshall camp, and I wanted to be able to get some Mesa Boogie in there from time to time. This pedal doesn't do that, but I will say that it does what it does very well and I have not wanted to make a change.

Their Faux Tape Echo sounds interesting. I want to check out their Black '65 at some point.

Ego Compressor and Paisley Drive. On my board now I have just the Ego but the Paisley is great too.

I have the Triple Wreck, amazing modern distortion and you can turn it down to sort of classic distortion levels, really like it myself, I've read good things about the Dual Fusion, I might give that one a try soon
