Am looking at a used 2009 burst with light figuring, birds. Very clean in EXC shape.

What is typical used price? Am thinking about $1800-1900?
Anything of note about that year model?

The cheapest I've seen DGTs in a recent search is US$1400-1650, although not the same year. I don't think that makes a difference, though. I think if it's in as good condition as you say, and if it's worth a couple hundred for excellent condition then do it; however if you'd rather save a few hundred, keep looking.

Thanks for info.
Was just not real clued in to the price ranges.
Quite a variance based upon top and birds, wear, etc.

I worked a deal I am comfortable with.
Looking forward to trying one out.

It sounds fantastic. That's pretty much all you need to know. Oh, and it feels fantastic, too.

pretty much what Boogie said!

What Chris said about what Boogie said.

Ditto. But I think if you are patient you can find used DGTs for less than that price.

What Gian said about what Jesse said about what Chris said about what Boogie said.

For my money, mine (2008) is just about the perfect neck for me. Incredibly comfortable. Makes the 11s feel much lighter. Tons of tones available.

And it makes me sound EXACTLY like David Grissom on a break when I put it down.

Congrats - looking forward to the pics when NGD happens!

this. I concur....

Got the guitar today.

It is really a unique axe in terms of range in tones, and playability.
I had a McTrem a couple years ago.
You would think they would sound very close but the DGT has its own very vintage vibe thing going.

Really like it a lot.
Top has light flame and cross grain. Similar to a plaintop R8.

:congrats:

Matched with that amp, you should yield some really good ear candy.

That is pic from previous owner.
I use an Axe Fx II, and Mesa mk v 25.

Oh, that's too bad. It's gonna suck with those.

No. It's not. Not even close. But you know that by now!
