Any info on this? 2023 CE 24 Purple Burst w/Ebony Fretboard

Hello, first post here. I just bought a new PRS CE 24 Purple Burst, and it claims that the fretboard is a custom option with an ebony fretboard.

I can't seem to find any info on this anywhere. Serial number is: 23 0379265.

The only other thing that looks different is the headstock is dark vs. light. Wondering if there is any info on this out there!

If it has an Ebony fret board it like has an Ebony headstock veneer. As Mark stated, some dealers do special runs of 5 to 10 guitars, and sometimes the factory may do one offs. Usually that is some custom color, though.

I found some custom runs on sweetwater that had the blacked out neck and headstock, but rosewood board. I suspect this is the same run with a dark rosewood, or maybe it is Ebony. I'll update when received!

There's ebony fretboard CE24 out there. You'll be able to tell on arrival. I don't know Mom's but they definitely look the part with great reviews.

I had a 2020 that had an ebony board and 57/08s. Nice guitar.

I recently picked up a 2020 CE24 with an ebony board, black neck and headstock. It was an exclusive run in satin white for Chicago Music Exchange and I think one UK dealer (Peach?). Haven't really bonded with the pickups so far, but the finish on the neck may be the smoothest feeling, fasting playing I've ever owned. Would love to have a purple burst version!
