The Force is weak in ^^
This year I finally decided to plant some veggies (tomatoes, chili's - jalapeño Ghost and habenero, cucumbers, zucchini, beans, peas, lettuce and various herbs and spices) to see how id do at it. Started everything from seed in pots, and with the rains we got these last few weeks everything exploded and is almost out of control... except my chili's :-(
Ive been meaning to get some boxes (started building them last night) built to have a nicer layout and more space, but now I'm wondering how I'm actually going to transplant the plants without killing them? Unfortunately I overplanted expecting most of my seeds not to sprout. Each type of veggie is in 1 pot, so ill need to separate them from each other once going in the box... did I screw myself here?!
Being a newb I didn't realize how big zucchini plants got, at least until I saw my buddies moms ginormous Plants, so one box I built just for that, a 2.5x2.5x1, she said that should be enough for 1 or 2... I have 3 going right now, so I'm thinking one needs to be killed off. The other box is a 4x4x1 for everything else.
So there's some people really passionate about lawn care, anyone find peace growing their own food who might have some tips for newbies wanting to start themselves?
