I did a search, but got all kinds of unrelated threads due to the common name.

Are you talking about the Korina SE One? If so, I owned one for a minute. Musician's Friend blew them out for $399 with gig bag. This was the nice one with neck binding and birds. For that price it was a KILLER deal! Mine was a 3-piece body, but looked and sounded fine. Why don't I own it anymore? Neck was too small for me. I gave it to the other guitarist in our band.

Yes it’s definitely more of a wide fat neck. Suuuuuper comfortable and fun to play.

Thanks, everyone. I just bought one (haven't received it yet) a 2011 (L) that is a dot (partial moons) neck. What years were these produced? When did they get birds?

As far as I know from 2007 to 2012 . 2012 was the last year. Birds maybe 2011/2012.

Yes, title edited. Didn't they have the wide, fat neck?

I don't remember what neck size was specified. I do know that the longer I've played, the bigger necks I like, and I know quickly when I'm just not going to play a guitar because of that. In fact when Ron Thorn was building Artisan Master #29 for me, I asked him to take a Warmoth Fatback profile and add 10%.

The One was Wide/Fat neck, but there is some variation in final shape. My current one feels small for W/F and the back flattens out above the 9th fret, which is actually pretty nice for soloing.

Korina or not, you can't miss. Great model.

That is big! Fatback is 1.00” the whole way, so 1.10” = 1-7/64”! That's bigger than my R7. My Thorn is .84-.93, and feels perfect for me.

The funny thing is I sent a picture of me playing #29 to Ron and he says "Your mitts look HUGE on that neck!" LOL
