Paul, It is an ebony board. It is so dense that I suspected richlite, except that has been gone for over 2 years, and looking very closely you can see grain lines.

I've purchased seven guitars from Sweetwater, they all arrive in great condition, set-up properly, even in tune. Their service is beyond reproach. I always deal w/Jeff - he saves me a bit of coin . When I ordered my '21 Zack Meyer blue SC it was sold out, but he sourced one from someone and got it to me in under two months. I realized they're at the whim of the pipeline, too. But they buy shed-loads from PRS... as well as Martin, Gibson, Fender, Taylor, and ESP/LTD/Takemine, et al. That just makes their buying power colossal.

I've dealt w/ John Mann, and he's a good guy to deal with.
