We all know the real solution is to buy a second (USA pickup) Vela
My Vela S/H has the USA pickups and I'm trying to find a way to justify swapping the bridge pickup, but my god it just sounds good. No other real way to say it. The neck narrowfield is my dream neck pickup and I wish I can put it in all of my muddy HB guitars neck positions. The split sound is a little brash, but that's what the tone control is for. My only hiccup is that it seems the tone control on my vela does nothing until I get to 5 on it. I'm considering a new wiring harness as opposed to pickup on this one!
