Another moon landing for... some people not to believe

I am no romantic, however I am thrilled by the prospect that there is more than just this speck of dirt in the universe.

I do believe in a God and am fairly certain there are things like a spiritual world and its inhabitants. And I have no clue how that would manifest in scientific terms.

But, I often see some, what I would call extreme ideas like a flat earth combined with some notion of a religion and that makes me sad. It invokes all kinds of flame throwing, and I do not get the issue. The bigger the universe the bigger the miracle and from my perspective: the bigger the One that made it all. I'd say: rejoyce in the big universe, ye unbelievers!

To believe the earth is flat and that there is no outer space is an insult to God (the Creator). The fact that the people making this new theory can take and discard certain parts of Genesis to decieve others is quite dangerous, indeed. Protect our youth, as it were!

Now that I've read a few more of the comments, I've now somewhat of a hypothesis.....

You see,
There is a new wave generation of young audience (teens through early 20's) who believe that outer space - above the atmosphere do not exist. I truly believe that Clashcityrocker falls into this audience. You guys wouldn't believe it but the fact is that this new flat-earther movement is growing popular due to it being publicized and pushed by Tik-Tok.

^And there is the first red-flag, "Tik-Tok" being involved. Secondly, while it tries to fortify this imagery by using the Christian Bible for support, it's a bit of a mockery and manipulation of these scriptures themselves. So these people call themselves "Firmanists" and originates as a sub-theorist point of view derived from Flat-earthers. If you didn't know before, you do now. Somehow my niece fell into the trap, no clue if she still believes the earth is flat and there is no actual outer space which is how I became enlightened, maybe she's come back to us.

No it's not! There scripture saying the earth is solid and immovable. There is nothing in it saying the earth is a ball going through a space void.

Scripture does not tell us about dinosaurs either, yet we did find bits and pieces of them in the ground. Nor does it tell us about atoms, relativity or the existance of hummingbirds.

The Bible is not a scientific article, nor was it intended to be like that. It is a book that is telling us about who God is, and that is all it does. All the other things written up there are secondary and I dare say influenced by believes of that time. Apparantly God did not find it that importand or he would have redacted that.

If you show me a picture of the end of the earth like in Narnia Voyage of the Dawn Treader and the sea of light you might be convincing. However right now there are more pictures of people walking on the moon than of the edge of the world.

Dinosaurs are likely some weird hybrids before the flood. Either that or they are a hoax. Really they were only discovered in the 1800's.

Space is just a deception. Rockets can't go up that high because the air gets too thin to push off of. If you were in a vacuum, there would be nothing to push off of to propel yourself. This is just physics. The speeds they say the craft is going is totally unreasonable. There is no way to get up to those speeds and then slow down to land.

Are you saying that they spend MILLIONS of dollars to build these space ships, and they don’t put brakes on them?
