Another case fit question... S2 McCarty Thinline

I got this SKB case a while back for my S2 Singlecut. It fits pretty well but needs a bit of extra padding under the lower bout to keep the neck in place, no big deal. Anyone know if there's a chance of it fitting my incoming S2 McCarty Thinline? I'd rather not get another hard case if I can help it.

In case anyone else is wondering, it does not fit. The case will not accommodate the top horn. Bummer!

I use one of the Gator cases with the TSA lock for my Thinline, and the fit is perfect.

Which model? My local GC has one of the PRS universal cases that’s been sitting there for a couple of years and I think I might be able to pick it up for not much money if it’s still there. I have to go later today anyway so I’ll check it out.

My tobacco burst Thinline arrived yesterday. I love it! I bought a vintage cherry Thinline a couple of weeks ago but returned it as the color was more orange than cherry, at least compared with my Singlecut Standard. The tobacco burst looks great.

Wish I could tell you, but there are no model markings anywhere on the case other than their name on the top. I even checked the two tags that came with the case, but no model identifier. I bought it at GC when I picked up the TL that I'd ordered. I chose the Vintage Cherry, and luckily it was cherry and not with orange tones. Like many of us here that own that particular guitar, you'll love it even more as you spend time with it. Post some pics when you get a chance.

Cool, I'll see what I can find on Gator's site. I am having a blast with the Thinline, although I'm thinking about swapping some Bare Knuckle Mules in. I exchanged the black knobs for amber, and I'll be putting in a cream switch tip to go with the pickup rings, binding, and tuner buttons. I'll post some photos when I get it all spiffed up.
