This is for all you PRS experts.

I have a 1992 PRS that I bought in NYC around that time. It has 24 frets, bird inlays, either glued on or one piece neck (no blots), 5 way switch/dial, three pickups, tremolo, locking machine heads, and serial number 2 13040.

It plays great. Fastest neck I've ever played. And its beautiful and in great shape.

Questions:
1. What model is it?
2. What type of wood is that?
3. Has it increased in value?

Custom 24
Mahogany body with a maple cap. Unless it’s a Standard, then it would be all mahogany.
Likely. They’ll be more today than what list was in ‘92

I'm a noob at his. How can I insert pics. It looks like the top and bottom pickup are double coil and the middle one is single coil. The neck and back are all red and the top is redish on the outside and more yellow towards the middle. A sunburst.

Thank for the feedback guys. See how there's another wood between the top and back. I have also wondered if this is Brazilian wood or not.

That is just a scraped binding: part of the maple cap. The fretboard might be brazilian, however I thought PRS stopped using it in 91?

Very cool guitar Btw!

As mentioned, it’s actually part of the top. They tape it off before spraying, and then scrape after the tape is removed. Here’s a cool video showing the process.

Based On The Pics I Can't Tell What It Is.

I can’t figure out how to attach photos.
Here is a thread with my tutorials and links to all other tutorials I am aware of regarding posting pix here on the PRS Forum. If after reviewing this material you still need assistance, feel free to send me a private message and I will help you get things worked out! Long and short is, it needs to be uploaded to a third party site and you then link to that photo in your post here on the forum.
