So my Mum keeps sending me photos from about the time that PRS were starting out.

I know this has probably been done already, but here goes:

Circa ‘87, apologies for the non-PRS content, I didn’t know any better. Foolish boy.

Circa ‘85-‘86. Haha!

So be brave, share your youthful photos from that era.

VERY cool pics AR.

Here's a couple of me playing my Gibson LP and Explorer back in 1984.

Since this was before PRS started mass production of PRS guitars, I guess I didn't have a choice but to play other guitars. ;)

70s playing Temptations, Stones, Eagles, whatever. My mom made the shirt.

Same guitar player, different drummer, a bit more Cash, Snow, Credence, shorter hair.
If it was colour, it would be easier for Bodia to see the belt matched the shirt.

I don't seem to have any shots of the big band I played with at that time.

And since we're short of dudettes, a bunch of years later. I gave the little blonde a guitar a couple of years later because she was so fascinated by them.
For those of you who haven't met the Mrs, that's her in white with another camera.

I approve of the matching belt!

Reub,

You look a lot like my nephew in the 80s!

Here's me in '76 w/ Gibby SG, Peavey Classic 50W 2x12, coil cord...that being said, I look nothing like this today...

This one displays my then PS Archtop in One-Piece Tiger's Eye flame, at a local place called Goomba's Restaurant. Goomba's had a small area in back where the band set up. You're seeing me play a rather open chord here...likely because I didn't know the changes...

This one is a year later, with my F American Standard Plus at Good Life Grill. Same jazz/blues jam hosts and band, just moved over to a separate bar/restaurant after Goomba's folded.

1970, Ann Arbor, The Diag, U of Michigan. My band played an outdoor festival of some kind. I’m playing a combo organ with the right hand, and key bass with the left - we didn’t have a bass player. Kinda like The Doors, only we weren’t as good. ;)

Note the classic 1970 wife-beater undershirt!

One more detail, we had a roadie named Big Sue. I didn’t have to set up the equipment. She was...not a small person!

Most of you weren’t even born then, right? :p
