Pronounced it “Rubben”. I’m the colloquial translator of this thread, apparently. Indiana isn’t known for its preservation of native pronunciations, as evidenced by the towns of Lafayette, Versailles, Brazil (ok, maybe that one is close), Vincennes, and anything else furrin.
