Yep!So does that mean you are a November baby?

It might. I may have to give up the “macho” attitude and try something.Gotta say... my back is getting worse. I was clearing fallen trees in my back yard and I just can't do it for more than an hour or so.
Just wrecked...
Luckily going for a ride causes no back pain!
I wonder if the right bike/riding position would work for you?
Have you ever tried a recumbant? If you are interested in them, you should pick @veinbuster 's brain about them!It might. I may have to give up the “macho” attitude and try something.
Have not. Yes, Peter is a wealth of knowledge on all things bikes.Have you ever tried a recumbant? If you are interested in them, you should pick @veinbuster 's brain about them!
I am a November baby too. The 13th to be exact.Yep!
Mine is the 15th. I was actually 3 days late. I was due on the 12th, which is my fathers birthday. Mom actually went into labor and to the hospital on the 12th. After 24 hours, labor stopped and they sent her home. Started again on the 15th and this time it worked, to the chagrin of many here (and elsewhere!)I am a November baby too. The 13th to be exact.
It's pretty hard to fit a traditional bike to cater to back problems. Even with the best setup, your posture plays a huge role and it is hard not to get the back involved.Gotta say... my back is getting worse. Headed out for a Mud Bay run just to get 20+ kms in.
Don't worry, it shouldn't be hard to find more muddy water during a Vancouver winter.I got showered with muddy water (yes, that's a music reference)...
Glad I did it. Need some more...
Good thing I got a ride in yesterday. It is a deluge of rain/wind today!Don't worry, it shouldn't be hard to find more muddy water during a Vancouver winter.
Yes, we can't get many more like this before spring. Even with the time change (we started after dark last night) we played Pickleball outside from 6:00 til 8:30 in shorts and tshirts last night. It was still 70 degrees 2 hours after sunset! Its a beautiful day. Gardening and roller skating this afternoon.
Enjoy the weather. Days like this are very numbered. I am in shorts and a T-shirt!
Do you like Pickle ball? I was thinking of trying it. Great cardio!Yes, we can't get many more like this before spring. I am enjoying it. It's not great for cardio, at least not like what I'm used too. But if you play at a decent level it's good all around. There is a lot of cutting, moving, etc., just that the smaller court makes the movements shorter.Do you like Pickle ball? I was thinking of trying it. Great cardio!
I feel much the same as dreamtheatrerules.Do you like Pickle ball? I was thinking of trying it. Great cardio!
It’s pretty straight forward. You’ll pick it up fast if you’ve ever played any racquet sport.I have never seen it played. I should watch some on YouTube. Going to check it out.
Agree, but… if you played a lot of tennis, there is some significant adjustments. The paddle vs. racquet. At first I kept getting to the spot to hit the ball but keeping the ball too far away from my body, since I’m used to a racquet, not a paddle. The smaller court. Big adjustment! I am CONSTANTLY hitting out when I try to go cross court. A couple other tennis hangovers I’m trying to cure. But, I’ve only played 6 times now. My problem is, I expect to be really good as soon as I start playing something new, and I’m not exactly a spring chicken now. Things don’t come quite as easy as they used to.It’s pretty straight forward. You’ll pick it up fast if you’ve ever played any racquet sport.
