Being 53 doesn’t bother me. The mandatory annual colonoscopies do! Now if it came with a free PRS, I’d let them cram whatever they wanted up my a$$... (not like I have a choice)

I need to get that done. been putting it off. Hopefully it will come with a PRS by then. Or maybe I will find all the stuff the wife said I could shove up my ...!

Don't put it off. I've had two because of a history of polyps (dad) and colon cancer (uncle, cousin) in the family. My dad's brother had colon cancer and so did his wife. They died six months apart. My cousin, their daughter, went to the hospital with what she thought was appendicitis a month or two after my uncle died. Stage 4 colon cancer - she hadn't been getting the colonoscopies. So, please - don't put it off. The anticipation is far worse than the procedure. The prep isn't fun - you ingest a large amount of liquid (but you don't keep it!!!) in a short period, but the alternative is far worse.

I had a polyp at my first, and my second this year was clean, so I was told five years this time (which was a surprise).

The nurse at my doctor's office teased me a few years ago when I was almost 51 - she alluded to the tests that I had to get done and said, "How do you feel about that?" I told her about my uncle and cousin, and my dad's prostate cancer, and said, "I'm not stupid - I'm not going to avoid them."

ETA: It occurred to me after I posted this that I should have said - my dad is fine. Several years clear now. And my doc said come back in two years, so, so far, so good.

46 an got my first SE about 3 years ago after trying a friends SE Tremonti.. Still holding out for a core line PRS but happy with my SE Chris Robinson model..

I agree with alantig, don't put it off bud as been having colonoscopies & Enoscopies since early 20 with my ulcrated colitis.. There nothing to worry about an only take a few hours tops for a lot of peace of mind..

Have next one in 4 months time an thinking of asking my specialist for a copy of any pics for a new avitar too see if anyone can guess what it is..

Just get it done. It really isn’t bad, they give you good drugs so you don’t have a clue what happened. The prep however is the sh!ts.

Just turned 62 bought my first PRS in '89. Waited 26 years to buy (afford ) the second. And in an odd series of events bought 3 more the first 7 months of 2017. I have more passion to play now than I ever have.

On my first report, there was a picture with what looked like a black obelisk with a number 10 on it. I asked what it was, and the nurse told me it was an instrument that they use to gauge size in the pictures. I said, "Oh - I thought maybe you guys put in a mile marker." She wasn't as amused as I was.

This time, just before they put me under, there was a discussion about who performed the song that was playing (I couldn't hear it). The anesthesiologist said she thought it was Huey Lewis (I think). The nurse said Men At Work. I said, "I can't hear it - what song?" The anesthesiologist said, "Who Can It Be Now". I said, "You don't know Men At Work and you're going to put me to sleep? I'm having second thoughts." And then I was out.

Looks like I might just be the youngest at 25!

Got my first PRS (an SE Singlecut) about 4 or 5 years ago. Since then, I've owned probably 15-20 PRS guitars, both Korean and US. Now I'm down to 3 SEs.
