Advice needed on PRS

I don`t think there is a measured height that gives you the "right" sound. I use the Fralin method. Set the neck pickup so that you love the sound. Then set the bridge pickup so that it matches the neck in volume. After that, it`s tweaking the pole pieces and minor adjustments. Part of the fun of PRS is that you can make them sound really different by tweaking the pickups. It gives you an excuse to buy more and search for other sounds.

Cheers guys. I'm going to tweak my amp next time I am at practice. I've left it pretty much on my SG settings. Im glad I persevered as it's truly a great guitar!

One thing I have learned is to judge each guitar separately from the next. When setting up your amp, you will need to consider how the guitar you are using sounds and set the amp accordingly.
