adjusting pickup height on SE 277?

I tried turning the little phillips screws that I assumed adjusted the height but nothing much happened
is it better to adjust the slot screw pole pieces separately...

Hmm, honestly, I've never looked into adjusting soapbar pickup height.

Now I have something to Google and amuse myself with this morning.

EDIT: well, it appears you should just be able to tweak those smaller screws. I'm at work, so I cannot try anything right now.

The pickup won't move much if the thread is really fine, just remember how many times you rotate it so you can put it back if you think the result is worse.
