So I ended up talking to another dude about maybe doing an acoustic duo, and realized I had nothing available to send, so just did a cover of Van Morrison's "Into the Mystic" and thought I'd share. You can sadly hear the rattling I was discussing in the acoustic forum, am really looking forward to the new bracket arriving..but am still pretty happy with the video.

Nice job, Aahzz, on one of Van Morrison's great songs. The Colin James version is nice, Jason Isbell also does a good job with it, Joe Cocker tears it up real good - but my favorite version is by a Minneapolis band called Mick Sterling and the Stud Brothers. Lots of horns, laid back tremolo guitar, and two amazing solos - one on piano and the other on baritone sax.

I’ve never heard this song before, and I don’t really care for Van Morrison… but that was a great job brother! Enjoyed that! And, thank you for posting it!!!!!!

Thanks all for the kind words :).

That guitar never ceases to amaze me with its tone, even given the rattling issues I've been having. The entry level to the PRS SE Acoustic line at the time, and it sounds freaking amazing :D.

Rattling issues???

Rattling issues???

I have a thread in the Acoustic forum - there's a rattle/buzz at some frequencies, it's been driving me nuts and I can hear it in the video. I took it over to Third Rock on Friday, they've ordered a new bracket for the preamp, said it's the second one they've seen recently in that Fishman sound hole preamp. New part will be here in a couple weeks :).

Well, that's great that they know what it is and can fix it because it sure seems like a nice guitar.
