I know on a 5 string bass the lowest string is tuned to B, but on a 6 string bass, is the lowest string tuned to a G, or is the whole guitar tuned like a regular guitar with E A D G B E ?

B E A D G C is the standard ascending fourths 6 string bass tuning. Lots of utility by having everything symmetrical between string groups to move around scale patterns, etc.

The Fender Bass VI is the exception to the basses tuned in fourths rule. It's tuned like a regular guitar an octave lower E A D G B E.

Thanks guys for the tips here.
I think my next bass after the Kingfisher if I get another one, may be a five string, would have to try one out first.
Looking very forward to the Kingfisher when it lands.
