A PRS Supply Question, Maybe Shawn can shed some light?

Why is it that items ( Core Instruments and Core Amps ) that were ordered at the Experience this year, ( Which was great once again Thank You !!) still have not shipped yet to the dealers and the NOS ME 1s that were announced last week are already shipping, Now granted some of them had to be in final assembly when the ban came through and I guess all the available ones have been sold and production started on them but Why wouldnt PRS clear the back log of dealer orders on Core Instruments first?

Hey Craig, I never heard back from you after you sent me the PM (on the 16th) asking if my EV Siggy was still on the block - followed by a 2nd PM asking for detailed photos (which I sent). After you bailed the 1st time I was surprised you came back around knowing my price was firm. Now I understand. The one you bought is killer! Ivoroid tuner buttons look fantastic on that model/color.

Anyway... sorry to derail the thread. Whatcha got coming that you ordered at Exp? When did your dealer promise it to you?

I did ask the second time and between the first and second time there was a trip to PTC and a price increase to cover the work by the PTC. Understandably you had work done no need to lose money you just spent. In the meantime I posted a wtb ad over on VR got a couple nice if you want to buy make me an offer pms which is why I asked for pics from you trying to decide which one I wanted. Then I got a trade offer which worked out better for me hence the ngd.

Hi Craig,

We try to build a few of these and a few of those and we do our best to make everyone happy. Sometimes things don't always work out like we hoped and we run into some snags. A guitar may get to the assembly stage when someone goes to do a touch-up buff on a small area and the finish gets burned through. All of a sudden, that guitar requires a lot more work and now it will be shipping about a month later than we originally thought.
