A Pet Peeve

Picked up the new Prince & 3rdeyegirl CD, PLECTRUMELECTRUM. Featuring PRS artist Donna Grantis. Flipping through the booklet, I came across something that's a pet peeve of mine - there's a nice picture of Donna with a beautiful white Mira. But the picture was reversed - I don't think I've ever seen a lefty Mira, or as the truss rod said in the pic, an ariM. By htimS deeR luaP.

Good call...I used to hate reversed pics on Baseball cards, too...can't the photographer just flip the camera around???LOL

Yes, bugs the crap out of me! I know why they do it, to make the image flow better with the layout, but I think it should be verboten when it changes the meaning of the image to much.

Maybe it would help if they knew which direction we were facing when viewing the image....

This also drives me nuts. Steve Vai's artist image on Google Play is PaW era and reversed.

The photographers for Topps were eventually given lists for the players because some would pose left-handed when they were right-handed, or sometimes they really screwed up. Like the 1969 Aurelio Rodriquez card.

That's actually the Angels batboy.

Or the year they flipped Hank Aaron's image. Look at the 4 under his "right" arm.
