Sometime Tuesday evening or Wednesday before dawn something happened.

I came out Wednesday morning to roll the trash out and what do I see?

Okay, somebody had been playing with an RC Jeep. But those are pretty heavy marks, heavier than our big Waste Management container that is filled with heavy stuff. So how heavy is this. I start following the tracks.

They loop around my house. They might start at the back by the garage out of the desert, across my back driveway and around the bird feeders and then our side yard into a neighbor's front yard and driveway, back into my yard then across the front yard and then to loop slightly into another neighbor's yard then back across my side yard and head into our back yard and there it matches up with the loop where it started. I think it came from another neigbor but there is no return where it could have gone back.

I'm seeing areas where the tracks aren't parallel also, where one goes straight and the other goes out or they both go out. There are no footmarks around them, and they go over rocks and low sage brush and under areas that give less that two feet of clearance. Ok, so someone has some heavy duty camera-equipped RC unit. The oddest thing is that they look like imprints from bicycle tires and that they follow the wildlife path of the coyotes and the javelina around here (but there aren't any animal signs either, so it isn't as though they were following something at night). We have 1 acre lots here and everything that isn't gravel, walled backyard, or house is cactus and native plants. No neighbors know the wildlife path on my property.

I thought that RC units had knobby tires for traction.
In all of the tracks there is never any backing up or visible loss of traction.
The tires aren't always parallel.

Your answer is as good as mine.
