I love my first USA made PRS, a 2013 SC245 with a Boyd Burst finish. However, I have never been a fan of plastic, and didn't think the chrome tuners suited a guitar with such a classic vintage look. I also wanted to add something to tie in the top with the black sides and beautiful burst back...

BRING ON THE WOOD! Ebony tuner buttons from PRS :top:but sadly they don't yet sell any other wood parts, but why should private stocks have all the fun? John Guilford (pickuprings.com) provided me with a set of ebony pickup rings and an ebony toggle switch. Now this guitar is P E R F E C T... her name is Ember, enjoy!

"That rug really tied the room together, man..."

Er...I mean those buttons really tie that guitar together, dude!
Nice job...gorgeous guitar!

i have the boyd burst P22 and it is very nice enjoy. I like what you did with the knobs, I will have to do the same. The chrome does take away a little from the over all aesthetics.

Digging the tuner buttons, and the switch tip.

But...I like the ivory colored rings better on that guitar.

Beautiful axe either way, though!
