Hmm, lets see... they have to total 360, so what is 360 divided by 3? Twenty something? Roughly

I know this is an utter waste of time, but I'm sharing it anyway. In the last two weeks, three more people I know have died from this "bs pandemic."

One of my friends who is big on all the conspiracy theory crap like you are, said almost these exact works months ago. "It's not real. I ain't getting any vaccination." blah blah blah. I'm supposed to be playing music with him in two weeks, and he was supposed to be working on my camper AC this week. But, he's a little pre-disposed at the moment. In the hospital with Covid.

In 60 years on this planet, I don't think I've ever seen anything close to the absolute idiocy this virus has caused. I know one family that thinks like you do. No one vaccinated, it's the govt. trying to control us, not real, no threat to healthy people, etc. One wife got it and refused to believe of acknowledge what it was. Soon, 10 people in the family had it, all denying what it was. SOme barely got sick. None quarantined. Eventually the mother got it. Was in the hospital for 3 weeks, and even when she got out is too week to come out of her house... still vehemently denying what it is even though the doctors and nurses all told her what she had. This woman is going on 6 weeks now where she's been sick, and so weak she can't do her job, and still denies what she has.

However, my wife lost a friend last week that used to bring us cookies all the time. Lost a guy my family did business with for years, and lost another person we know. All three of these in the last 10 days or so. My patience is getting thin with idiots denying the existence of this, saying it's not real, saying it's no threat, saying it's a "bs pandemic" and even thinner with the freakin idiots who are mocking anyone who got a shot with all their comments about the shot. I got a shot. My doctor told me too. He's WAY smarter than you are and responsible for my health. So I'll say this now. I'm here to discuss guitars/amps/music and to have fun. If you continue this, I'm going to get mad, at which point I won't be so friendly. Stop insulting the intelligence of people who got the shot. Stop it now. Live your clown life. Mock me, I laugh at you. But you're completely disrespecting friends and family I've lost to this virus with your remarks, and THAT will piss me off. It's time for you to STFU and move on.

This has gone from being hilarious, to WTF, to embarrassing, and has now reached the sad stage.

I'm not disrespecting anyone. This thread started with people getting the vax then commenting on it. I began seeing people have really bad reactions to the vax and some dying. There is even a whistleblower that saw that 45,000 people died in 3 days. So you say your doctor knows way more than me? I bet he didn't say anything about the dangers of it. What is he going to say? He probably doesn't even know the ingredients in the vax. Another thing is I've never been rude to you on this thread but you sure have been condescending and rude to me but whatever. You say 10 people got it but denied it. Ok, I had a common cold in June but got over it. I would bet dollars to donuts you would think I had Covid then. Did I get tested? Heck no. The test is a joke to make it look like there is so many "cases" happening. I know that because I have done more research than you.

Your research seems to be limited to one source.....Tucker Carlson. That's not a good thing.

Hmmm. Very depressing read here. Yes, there are very limited amounts of negative reactions to the vaccine. But that does not change the risk/reward of getting the vaccine compared to potentially contracting and spreading covid.

    https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/safety/adverse-events.html

We know the ingredients in the vax too, its a simple google search:

    https://www.hackensackmeridianhealt...own-of-the-ingredients-in-the-covid-vaccines/

messenger ribonucleic acid, lipids, salts and sugars. Do I know exactly what all those compounds do and how they work together? No, but I can say the same for phenylalanine, sodium benzoate, and acesulfame-potassium, and those are all ingredients in diet coke, which I suppose one could argue is even more dangerous to your health than the covid vaccine.

I was there a while ago.

It’s hard to find the real life experience in this thread through all of the blah-blah any more.

But, yesterday I got to spend some quality time with a few friends who haven’t been in the same place at the same time for 25 years. All fully vaccinated. Two of them were able to cross the border for the first time in over a year to visit their aging mothers - because they were vaccinated.

Our new case counts are 2 orders of magnitude lower than they were 4 months ago before we got the vaccination machine going.

Not preaching or arguing, just observing.

I am truly sorry that you've lost people close to you. The only thing I'll take (mild) issue with in your statement is this - this lunacy has been building for decades. It's been a slow burn, but it's now coming to a boil.

And that's why I drink Coke Zero and Cherry Coke Zero.

Because of "ignored content", Clashcityrocker says -- No it's not. Don't make a comment unless you know what you are talking about.

And yet you still cant answer 5/0. You still cant answer questions about basic geometry. This is Dunning-Krueger and projecting of intellectual inadequacy at its finest. There is nothing wrong with having the humility to admit you know nothing about a subject. We might not be experts in fluid dynamics, or astrophysics, but I would never feel such hubris to tell someone who clearly has a better understanding of them that they are fools. When you cant realize your lack of knowledge, you then its easy to assume you know everything.

NH currently has a 7 day moving average of 30 cases. Our average in mid April was 430. We peaked at 866 in December. We also happen to be a well vaccinated state now.

Shot works. Life is back to normal here completely. You can go anyplace and not even know any of this happened.

BS Pandemic??? You do realize that the US had the biggest decline in life expectancy last year since WWII, don't you? It dropped from 78.8 years in 2019 to 77.3 years in 2020. Somewhere in this thread you commented that no more people have died this year than in years past. Wrong. 2020 was approximately 3.358 million compared to 2.855 million in 2019. Covid was ranked as the third highest cause of death for 2020, accounting for 11.3% of total deaths.

Quite right. Not to mention the prolonged respiratory effects on those who survived infection. Its part of what made me really fearful to contract it as I used to have asthma pretty bad.

This post IS the disrespectful BS I'm talking about! You KNOW of nobody having "really bad reactions" and you KNOW of NONE dying from the vaccine! You believe the BS that is circulating, thanks to people like you. And YES, when you mock people who get the shot and pretend nobody even knows whats in it, and go on about how harmful it is, you're insulting everyone who got it, every doctor and nurse who got it and urges others to do so as well, and all the people who got sick or died from this before they had a chance to get a vaccine.

I'm embarrassed at myself to even think of things like this, but there are a whole lot of people in the world right now, who won't face REALITY until someone close to them dies from this. I am a good person, and absolutely NEVER would wish that on anyone. But there are many, and you are one, that refused to accept what is really happening and that may be the only thing ever that works to make you understand. In between my post this morning and now, I talked to my friend I mentioned above. He got to come home this morning. He was diagnosed last week and was in quarantine, but had severe chest pains last night and thought he was having a heart attack. They got that under control so he came home with an oxygen mask this morning. This guy is a friend. Works 50-60 hours a week, doesn't drink or smoke, and is on no medications at all. Completely healthy. Mid 50s.

I have a realtor who is one of my best sources of business. She is now going on 4 weeks with this. She's been to the ER 4 times. Been in ICU twice. She sent me a selfie the other day sitting propped up in her bed with her laptop on her lap, and oxygen attached, to show she was still trying to work. She said "I'm 100% commission, like you. I can't afford to be off work sick." But she has to get her adult age son to help her go to the bathroom because she's we weak she can't walk 10 feet to the bathroom by herself.

I don't really know how your brain works, but this is more than a touchy subject and you REFUSE to back down. Numerous people close to me have had this. So far, I haven't lost anyone "really" close. Heaven forbid I lose someone really close because I can already tell you I'll go off on ANYONE who spews this crap, and that includes some good friends. so it sure as hell includes you. I'm pissed now. If you aren't going to stop with this crap and obviously aren't going to leave, (and I don't really want you to leave, just to stop this crap!) maybe it's just better for the group if I leave, because I don't get on the internet to fight with people and right now, I'm done listening to this. If I have to avoid threads or actually "block" people, maybe it's just better of I move along before I do something to embarrass myself.

Drew and I often disagree, but in this we are in complete agreement.

I've seen the effects of COVID. Sometimes they're not horrid, sometimes they are.

The producer of a film I scored lost both her parents to COVID. I know 3 others who died from it. My daughter's father in law was in the hospital for 3 months, was on a ventilator for weeks, and has terrible sequelae a year and 4 months after his release from the hospital. He had to go to a nursing facility, and is finally home. His wife is still on oxygen some year and 4 months later because her breathing never got back to normal. I'm glad they made it through, not looking for sympathy.

As in Drew's state, the suburb I live in is highly vaccinated. Life is starting to feel normal again. As vaccination rates increased, infection and death rates declined. This is a good thing.

When I read the false conspiracy theories and disproven ideas people continue to spread, I'm reminded of the panic in Europe during the bubonic plague in the 14th Century, where all kinds of false ideas gained currency. Certain groups were blamed by theory conspiracists, and were attacked by mobs. They were accused of poisoning wells, doing magic, and other things alleged to cause plague, and were murdered.

Tens of thousands of people believed that they had to do penance in order to cure the disease, and started traveling from town to town whipping themselves - this movement was called The Flagellants. Of course, by going from town to town they were actually spreading plague, not curing it.

We're not all that different from our ancestors. Fear, stress, and anger make people react irrationally. Among those things are spreading rumors, lies and questionable ideas. For reasons I don't understand, that's the way human nature seems to work. It's not that folks who spread this stuff are evil. People spread these stories because they believe them, even though they are proven false time and time again.

The topper of the madness in this pandemic is that a medical treatment was turned into a political controversy.

If someone doesn't want to be vaccinated, that's their choice. If they want to quit their health care job, or not attend a university because a vaccine is mandated, that's their choice. They are free to do so. If they choose to risk their health, that's their choice, and if they or a family member die as a result of that choice, it's still a sad thing I don't wish on anyone.

If a person doesn't want the vaccine, fine, but mask up or stay away from the kids in my family who are too young to get the vaccine at present, and don't get to make that choice.

You still can't answer why flying on a moving planet would be nearly impossible. It's possible because it's not moving. I don't care if people ignore my content, that's because they have no answer for it.
