A happy accident.

As some of you guys may remember, I posted a thread to help me choose some lampshades for Big Mamma II (my beloved SE245) a week or so back. First off, thanks for all the responses to the poll!

That being said, I screwed up. Apparently, I was so excited (aka...wine buzzed) about the sale prices at the accessory store, I inadvertently ordered the black/clear ones. DOH!!! So, sorry to you guys that voted for the amber ones. My bad.

I decided since I already had the black trim rings and switch tip, I would slap on the black ones just to see how it all looked together...now I've got all the goodies installed, I kinda dig the contrast. Here are a couple of pics...so what do ya think?

P.S. pardon my sh!tty pics @sergiodeblanc has temporarily relinquished his crown.

I’m one of the amber votes, but I think the black matches up with the rest of the hardware just fine. I wish my mistakes worked out as well as that!
