Back in 2007, Paul did an "Evening With" session at Wild Wire Guitars in Selby, UK.
It was a packed event and a really good vibe was going on.
During the session, Paul opened up for questions, so I asked him this...
"So, we all know how you love attention to detail... so why is it you have never noticed that your pickup covers have the engraving upside down on the neck pickup? If you look at it, the model of the pickup is engraved in the bottom right of the pickup cover - but you do it the same for the bridge and neck, so when the pickup builder puts the cover on and installs it into the guitar, it is now upside down."
Paul was shocked that I was the first person to ever tell him that. I think he thought I was a bit crazy... but my OCD means I could never buy one as that would bug me! (No joke)
He laughed and said if I ordered a PRS from him, he will personally engrave it to make sure it is the correct way.
Unfortunately, I don't have the sums of money needed for them to make me a custom one
