So I don't tend to go on other forums, I do lurk to keep an eye on the 2nd hand market, or maybe during the night time here in Aus when there's nothing going on on here and everyone is in bed (95% of you guys and everyone else in my house).
I've come across a couple of examples of forum bashing, I guess it's just what happens when humans interact with other humans, but I did feel the need to defend this forum. In the end I didn't because, well, it wouldn't achieve anything except for me being hypocritical. I get the feeling some people come on here with preconceived notions/expectations about the company, the people who play their guitars, this forum, and the people who frequent (and moderate) this forum.
At the end of the day, unless you're super duper perceptive, which is difficult with the inherent filter of the written word, assumptions generally only end up with one outcome.
What am I trying to say? Hans said it best, and sometimes I need to remind myself of this:
There was an interview w/ Paul where he basically said that, when you're playing your guitar, you're pretty much in a good mood. Have you ever seen anyone playing guitar in a bad mood? Something to that effect...
The point, Oblio: post less, play more or maybe play while you're posting, or post while you're playing, or something...
