Would like to get opinions on Values on VIntage Sweet Swtich Brazilian models from 86-91. The market seems to be heating up across the board again for american made guitars. (gib, fen, prs ect). Seems like values dipped a bit from 07-12, but it seems to be picking back up again. Any input and opinions are welcome.

Peace.

There's such a wide range in values between 86-91 that it's hard to give a really good answer. In my experience, asking prices are up but I'm not so sure sales are. I think the 88-91 CU24s are still a great value. Lot's of "vintage" PRS guitars available for $2500 or less.

I wholeheartedly agree that the market has not recovered. In the case of 1986 Vintage Yellow Customs, I've seen 2 sell recently. One sold for around $14,000, while the other just sold for $3500. I have an VY 86 listed for sale on Reverb, and haven't gotten a single inquiry.
