80's Vintage Yellow & 1996 Santana Yellow Question

Is the 80's Vintage Yellow and a 1996 Santana Yellow the Same Color?

I have two Santana 1's.
Looking at both pics I now see that the Santana Yellow probably started out with Yellow and then was double stained with amber,,,whereas the Vintage Yellow probably may have been double stained just with the yellow or maybe it was just stained once with the yellow.
