Thinking about swapping out the 58/15s for 57/08s or Tremontis for more growl and girth. Nothing wrong with the 58/15s. I really like them, just thought of trying something different. Love the guitar and no plans to get rid of it or the old pickups.

Anybody else swap theirs out? What results did you get?

I have no plans to, but if I did, I’d probably go for a 57/08 set, you just can’t go wrong.

Got a set of Bareknuckle Silos on order for my SC 594. Had a set in an S2 594 which I eventually sold, but the Silos in the S2 were immense. Should be equally sick in my Core.

My 594 is a wood library build that came with a covered 57/08 in the bridge. I swapped it out for a Duncan JB for a year or so, and I liked it quite a bit, but I recently switched back to the 57/08. I decided I had other guitars with hot bridge pickups and I should let the 594 have its' own voice.
