Good afternoon....1st post on the forum. I am for sure buying a 594 next week. All the PRS guitars I have owned have all had mahogany necks. I have an opportunity to buy a wood library edition that has a flamed maple neck for the same price as the standard 594 10 top. Is there any reason not to pull the trigger on the
Wood Library one?? Any advise would be appreciated. I have to ship the guitar to Phoenix so neither of them are in town....thanks

I have one of each, and love them both.
My Maple neck is plain with a satin finish, but once I start playing I tend to forgot that it's even different.

No reason not to pull the trigger at all, pick the one that speaks to you more.

Thank you sir....I really like the one with the maple neck. Has an Artist top on it and its on sale ...even better!!

I'm in the same boat, and share Callan's thoughts. I say, do it!

Eeny meeny miny mo... pick the one you like the most :)

My 594 has the unfinished rosewood neck and I absolutely love it. Looks wise I like the flamed maple, mahogany is always a solid choice, but that cool velvety smooth feel of unfinished rosewood trumped both for me.

Pics when it arrives we hope :)

Thank you all...think I will go with the wood library. I will post pictures when I get it...thanks again
