Hi guys, just wondering if anyone's ever tried a Dragon II in the bridge and 59/09 in the neck before? Having this done to my 2008 SE CU24 & anxious to hear what it sounds like! Hopefully with the mahogany neck of the 2008 SE CU24 it should be a nice weighty but crisp sound. I wanted a good beefy rock tone with a some added versatility and deep cleans which the 59/09 should help with!
The middle position should hopefully sound great with both pups combined.
Also just got an SE Dave Navarro 2012 - great guitar but aside from a phase II upgrade I might swap the the SE Vintage Bass pup with a US made vintage bass (in gold of course).
Will the US version of the vintage bass make a big difference? I hope so!
