58/15LT 2 Prototype pickups

Hi there, I recently came across a set of these and was wondering if anyone had any information on them?

Marked 58/15LT II PROTO.

My guess is they are early pickups that someone pulled out of a 594 prototype guitar. I saw them as well on reverb.

Tbh I've gotten them with zero expectation in that a prototype can be unsuccessful and can be one of many that don't end up being the final version, am curious though.

Originally popped up 6 months ago, previously in a guitar of a PRS artist.
