Hi Guys! i have a 2001 McCarty ten top with Lindy Fralin Unbuckers. Vintage tones with great coil tap sound but after trying my friend's 2016 McCarty 594 with 58/15 lt, i was blown away!

Unfortunately 58/15 lt's are very hard to come by, maybe you guys can suggest other brands that might respond & sound close to 58/15 lt?

Thanks!

,Ian

Someone sold one on Reverb this morning for $75! I don’t even need one and I’d have bought it if I saw it in time. Normally, they are going for $200-300 and up each. I’ve seriously considered pulling one and sending it to Lindy Fralin to match. The only pickup I have that sounds similar is the Gibson T-Top humbuckers in my 72 SG. Similarly, they are lower output and have a similar articulation that makes the 58/15LTs enjoyable to play on all pickup settings. Chicago Music Exchange did a special run of SGs that are supposed to emulate that era sound, and the pickups are also a lower output than “normal” these days.
