57/08 Pickup Install - Need Help

Hey Everyone,

I installed a set of 57/08 pickups into a 2005 McCarty. The original pickups were a steel braided black cable and a white cable. The new 57/08 pickups are 4 cables (black, white, red, steel braid/ground).

Is there any reason you would need to change the electronics in the guitar to make this switch? I see on the McCarty drop-in kit, there's an extra jumper cable.

You don't need to change the electronics, but they do need to be wired this way:
