Hi guys!
I owned a 513 MT, my one and only PRS. It has been assebled in August 2011. I noticed that PRS changed in 2011 some spare parts at that model. Very obvious: From Phase II to Phase III tuners.
But it strikes me, that 513 MT have been sold with the 513 nut (it´s a compensated/scalloped nut).
I´ve got a German friend who bought his 2011 513 MT at the same store as I did. He has Phase II tuners and the 513 nut on his guitar, I´ve got Phase III and the improved (but now standard) PRS nut.
Up to this moment I gathered information of 15 different PRS 513 MT built in 2011 concerning above mentioned spec details.
Due to the output related S/N in 2011 I know that 13,270 guitars with set neck have been produced.
Starting number 11 70 05 92, last number 11 18 38 62.
With the relation between starting S/N and actual S/N you can easily state the number of the guitar in that production year and if you have Hang Tag information of the assembly date you could pin point.
While I made up my decision in 2011 buying a 513 MT I checked web stores, I kept the data for some reason.
It is kinda fun noticing some exceptions: I expected the first guitars in 2011 with Phase II and 513 nut. But the new PRS standard nut ("PRS Std") is found on the first guitars in my list.
Or has the 2011 production line model already the new standard PRS nut?
But the reality is: there are currently two 513 MTs in the running production circle that got the "old" 513 nut glued on the neck. Officially the Phase III tuners are part of 513s with the 2012 catalogue.

I would like to sharpen the picture with support of you.
I kindly ask you, if I already mentioned your 513, to reply with the date of assembly (to adduce evidence a picture of the hang tag via PN would be nice), if it´s not mentioned all information is required.
Thanks in advance!
