Picked up a pretty beat 2008 513. One piece top with some crazy figure. Finally got the squeal out of the pickups using some foam in the cavities, great workhorse guitar w a really decent strat tone, something I need plus some fun humbucker options. Loving the scale length and neck joint, I feel like it makes a big difference in adding some fender vibe. Any other 513 fans?

I own one of these babies and after years of use it's always a guitar that I appreciate and love: the versatiliy is really incredible and the sound is fantastic. I had a problem with the PU but fixed it by waxing them and putting some foam to stabilize them. it happens that they can squeal if the tension of the screws is not balanced.
