513 - dc3 single coil sound the same?

Hey guys, 1 more question on this....

So I can get a a dc3 for way cheaper, I have never played on but, the 513 single coil sound I love. Is it the same sound from the 513 and dc3 in single coil?
I know they have different necks

Definitely not! I was actually shocked at how different they are. As much as I love my 513, I hate to say I was disappointed in the thinness of the DC3. If you want a 513 singlecoil, look for a 305. Still a little cheaper than a 513, but same construction, etc. That said, I would still try for a 513. The versatility is insane.
