2019 408 vs Pauls guitar from 22. I have the Paul's guitar. Is there much of a difference between these two really? Far as I can tell, trem vs stop tail, but are the pickups that much different. I got to say I do love my Paul's guitar.

Just happen to come across a 2019 and ...well you know the rest.

There 100% is a difference , the 408 bridge is just more of a good thing , that makes the splits more interesting and useful ( IMHO ) and the middle position using both pickups better also.
My Brushstroke 24 ( 24 fret pauls guitar with a trem ) moved on , the 408 is going no place

I feel they should offer the 408 instead of 24-08.
The Paul’s and 408 offer more variety than Paul’s and 24-08.

I see a Pauls guitar with 408's that says it is stock. Is that correct?
The Pauls guitar has a Narrow 408 in the bridge position.
The 408 and the original Signature LTD have the original wider ( and hotter ) 408 pickup in the bridge position , with the narrow 408 in the neck position

In my personal experience, I find the wide field 408 bridge pickup to be one of the best PRS
bridge pickups ever made IMHO!!! Boy do I love my 408!!!!!!!!!!!
