408 Body Thickness?

No, I believe they have the normal thickness of a Custom 22/24.

Now ya got me thinking...seems like my 408 is thicker than my P24?!? Might be my imagination. I'll have to check that out when I get home after work!

i did a quick check through the Guitarist mag with the Fender AVRIs on the cover, their review of the 408 said it has the McCarty thickness (53mm/2.09 inches) can anyone confirm this?

Wow that would be awesome if it was! I was told that it was standard thickness but I hope I'm wrong!

I was under the impression that a 408 was basically a McCarty with 408 electronics.

When I spec'd out my PS I told Paul M. that I wanted the same thickness as the Sig Limited and he said that was McCarty thickness.
