Agree entirely on the Tele-like split-bridge tones from the 408, and also on the massiveness of the full-humbucker mode (which normally isn't something you get on standard-sized bridge humbuckers).

I've said it before, and I'll say it again--the 408 is a brilliant, under-rated/under-appreciated guitar.
