1/ Absolutely the Frying Pan (and yes the 1st magnetic pickup was part of it). George Beauchamp is my hero.
2/ I'd have agree with P Bass too. The 1st electric bass! Of course.
3/ Pedal Steel guitar. Multiple necks, pedals for feet, rods for the knees... incredible things.
4/ Digital Profiling. Its now been nailed.
