Plan to replace the stock pickups (85/15 s / TCI s) pickups with a set of dimarzio pups. It was pretty easy to find color coding for the dimarzio pups bit after some looking around I’m a little lost as to what the PRS wire color equivalents are. I just want to wire the new pickups (4 conductor) in the same as the stock pickups. Anyone have experience with them that could tell me the equivalent wires between the dimarzios and PRS?

If I'm correct for
dimarzio
red/green : hot/ground (swappable for phase)
black/white : splits (switching between the two would determine which side of the pickup is used when split?)

PRS
red/black : hot/ground (swappable for phase)
white/green : splits (switching between the two would determine which side of the pickup is used when split?)

Si? No?

Well, no joy. Wired it up as above and while it sounds close to expected in humbucker switch positions, once I flip the tap switches it shuts the pickups almost completely off. Output barely registers at all. Only difference between whats mentioned above and how I wired them is that the stock pups only have a bare wire on the bridge pickup and its grounded to the back of the 3 way. So I grounded both bare wires from the dimarzios there just to be consistant but I dont think its the issue. Guessing theres something more to the wiring config of the stock pickups. Going to try today to wire the dimarzios according to the included instructions for coil tao switches and see how that goes. Hopefully the switches are at least standard.
