30th anniversary pickups?...

So what are the characteristics and differences in the 85/15 and 58/15 pickups?

I'm guessing I would like the latter over the former based on my preference for 57/08's, and my not really getting along at all with the '85 reissues...

No clue....yet.... But a local music store shows stock of the 30th CU24, so if it's really there, I'll try one out against a 59/09 version and see what's what. I was hoping to do it tomorrow, but I don't think it's in the cards. Some time next week. Not that I'm good at describing such things, but I'll give it a shot....
