305 BIRDS ?

I just picked up a mint 2010 305 in antique white. it has some very different birds on it than my 07,09,and10 birds. i've seen them before on a few other 2010 model 305's, but haven't noticed them on anything else. they're disjointed. really cool, but a lttle hard to explain. if you've seen them, you'll know what i mean. can anyone give me a little info on these? thanks

I thought all 305s had these

They were on the 305 before the 25th Anniversary models came out. After the 25th Anniversary, they became whatever the rest of PRS production line was using. I have them too, but in black MOP. They used to be called Modern Birds, now they are known as 513 Birds. Joe Knaggs designed them.

I also have a Modern Eagle on mine. It's one of the twenty prototypes.

They look great in any color. Paua for example.
