2nd Thoughts...Keep the MT15?

I have the Archon 25, 100, and the MT15. I prefer the cleans of the Archons to the MT15. To me, the dirty channel of the MT15 is more compressed, more modern, more thump.

My question is "how loud will you be playing in your home?"

That’s a great question. Both amps “open up” at a certain volume. My band rehearsal volume doesn’t really hit that point with the MT15. Just a hair below where it opens up and sounds bigger and less compressed. At our last gig, I was overjoyed when the sound guy asked me to turn up...twice! After the show, I wished I could always play it at that volume. It wasn’t a massive amount, but enough where the amp was working a little more. Unsurprisingly, I played a great show and felt way more inspired on stage.

Not sure if this helps but here is a sample sound test I did with my DGT (with a \m/ in the bridge) in the MT15, no front end boosting or EQing.
