28 yrs playing others, now 3rd PRS in less than a year

Got a 2020 CE 24 back in October, then my dad gifted me a 2019 Silver Sky. Now I’ve got a trade lined up for Monday. My Road Worn Strat plus a little cash for a 2003 CE 22. McCarty electronics, original included. Hopefully the old CE checks out. It looks pretty clean from what I can tell. Pics are from his Reverb post before he took it down pending our trade agreement. Looks like the trem is decked. Hopefully it’s not damaged on the edge and I can float it again. Really loving the bolt ons. Looking forward to trying out a core model at some point.

Keep on rollin'! Congrats! I played other stuff for about same amount of time, then got my first PRS in Feb. Second in March and third should be in house middle of June ;~)) Totally addictive!!! Lovin' every minute of these guitars!

Sometimes this is how it works--you get one, realize how amazing it is, and then it's like an addiction from there.

Been seeing a lot of interest in CE 22's lately, but I can understand why--they're just a great overall guitar. Yours in the classic whale-blue/black-back is another one that's hard to beat.

Just a heads up to be sure to watch a few tech videos like John Mann’s on setting up a PRS trem...it’s not the same as a Fender.

For all intents and purposes, that CE22 is a Core. You’ll love it. I’ve got a 2002, and it’s a keeper.

CE 22 is my favorite at the moment! OP I went through this in 2014 after deciding that PRS wasnt a guitar I could jive with I know have 5, 4 of them USA and 1 SE, you know the beat the hell out of when gigging in Brooklyn lol....I now only have 1 guitar that isnt a PRS and I just keep it because of sentimental value and the neck is twisted so its not sellable anyway....Enjoy!!!!!!
